Located along the tourist strip in Sanur, Denpasar. Polite and pampering staff. Very friendly and helpful. The food is cheap and tasty. Menu is diverse and plentiful. Usually has a singer during the evening that provides a cosy atmosphere and takes requests. Went there multiple times to eat and sometimes only to have a drink, listen to music and relax.I recommend that you try it.

Atmosphere was okay. Live music with nice songs. But we were here for a nice dinner and were let down. Ordered Big Plate Seafood Assortments and Babi Guling set (pork skin cracker). Pork tasted awfully bad and pork skin tasted like rubber. Crabs were so small yet no meat inside. Squid were so chewy and hard to bite. Prawns and lobster were so small and felt like not freshly BBQed. The only plus point: the staffs were friendly and tried their best to accomodate our complaints.

Very nice place, great food and live music

Staff were friendly and provided good service so it was a pleasant restaurant to enjoy dinner. There was also music, not too loud, which added a nice touch to the evening. I was a return diner because I enjoyed their fish meals which were perfectly cooked with tasty sides. I have a preference for smaller meals and i was a satisfied customer.

Ate here twice while in Bali. A place we didn’t seek out but lived when we got there. Both nights had local musicians playing and at an appropriate volume so you could enjoy the music but still talk. Both my wife and I had a stuffed sesame chicken that was fantastic. Atmosphere was great as you are outside overlooking the Main Street. Staff was a lot of fun as they interacted with the kids at many tables ensuring their parents had a good time. Highly recommend

The best ever!

We've been coming to Sanur for years, but for some reason overlooked this gem. We've been back 3 times this trip. Had the mahi filet the first time, and it was done to perfection. My husband had the tuna filet, also excellent. But the unexpected favorite was the 45,000IDR (maybe $3USD) nasi/mie goreng combo with chicken satay. Easily 2 meals, shareable, and so delicious. I'm picky about my mie goreng, and this amazing. Heavy on the veggies, which I love! Don't let the name fool you, this place is all about Bali comfort food done right!!

Stopped here for lunch and service was amazing! I had a lobster and they brought it out on the scale. It was grilled and very delicious! Served with a glass of fresh pineapple juice ! You can't go wrong

We stumbled upon this one as we were walking down the Jalan searching for an authentic Indonesian restaurant. It's drives your attention cuz of it's live music, it has a very good singer Anton, singing all beautiful classic English songs and some Indonesian ones too. The menu is very good as well, all touched up Indonesian food.We had Nasi goreng Satay, vegetarian noodles Satay, mozzarella cheese balls, and grilled Salmon as I remember.The waitresses dance to the live music, and customers are jovially invited to come dance or sing, it's lovely.

Great restaurant, nice menu, good prices, kind staff and good live music

Delicious, well presented food. The service is excellent- a notch above anywhere else we’ve eaten here. It’s on the more expensive side but well worth it. I love that they have a kids menu. The build your own pizza option was a huge hit with my girls. The satay was delicious as was the Greek salad (quite small but great flavor).

The food and service are amazing! We ate a late lunch so it wasn't busy. We will for sure be back!

Greatest grills we found in Sanur !

Location wise is very good, i had the sweet and sour pork was delicious, friendly staff, fine with the price and will be back again..

Three stars well deserved by friendly and professional staff... food unfortunately not so great. We ordered grilled tuna steak and grilled snapper filet... tasted more like dry shoe soles than fish. Maybe we just unlucky because our starters were pretty good. Prices ok but could be cheaper looking at the sizes of the portions.

My wife and I are staying up the road at the Oasis Lagoon Resort and have had 2 lunches & 2 dinners here at the El Comedor in 3 days.We've walked away extremely happy on every occasion.The staff are very friendly , energetic and always ready to help in anyway.The food is up there with the best I've tasted in the 3 years of coming to Bali...Finally ,when in Sanur do yourself a favour and have lunch or dinner here.I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Ate dinner here and ordered vietnamese rice paper rolls for entree. They were fresh and tasty but difficult to eat as they were falling apart. For main l had snapper fillet. Received 2 pieces of fish, steamed rice, green beans and 2 dipping sauces. I felt the meal was under seasoned and the fish was not hot enough (temperature wise).Service was good even though they were busy. Wouldn't rush to go back.

We came here for lunch. Nice outdoor setting. Fair prices and strong drinks :). We shared the Seafood Platter For One, and glad we did, it was huge! The ribs here look good too. Would recommend.

Live music, seafood plate, good service. What more can you ask for? Just 5 minute walk from our homestay on the street. Bunch of restaurant to choose from in this neighborhood. Not regret of our choice.
